AIO
Rockland - Serving Knox County, Maine
AIO is working to address food and energy insecurity in Knox County. Known first and foremost as a food pantry, AIO now serves more than 4,000 households a year, with more than 10,000 individual visits to the food pantry and countless more meals prepared through their Weekend Meal Program. AIO also provides energy assistance, partnering with local fuel providers to work with families that are experiencing financial stress, which may threaten discontinuance of their utilities or leave them without fuel for the furnace.
Area Interfaith Outreach (AIO) was established in 1990 in Rockland, Maine, by area congregations. It has been a volunteer-run organization for over 30 years—Volunteers collectively give an average of 15,000 hours each year to help run its programs.

Homeworthy
Homeworthy addresses the root causes of homelessness and provides holistic support and resources to people across Knox County, so they can find stability for themselves and their families.
As the only comprehensive homeless services organization in their ~2000 square mile coverage area, Homeworthy is working to end the cycle of homelessness through innovation and collaboration around affordable housing as well as reaching whole families through their family shelter and youth program
Guided by their core values of Hope and Resiliency, Collaboration, Dignity and Respect, Trust, and Compassion and Care, their vision is a supportive community within which all families and individuals have the opportunity for housing and a sustainable productive life.

Rockland - Serving Midcoast Maine
New Hope Midcoast is the Regional Domestic Violence Resource Center serving Midcoast Maine. Since 1981, our staff have been here to serve individuals affected by domestic abuse, dating violence and stalking.
New Hope Midcoast believes that a life free from abuse is a fundamental human right and works to build a culture that will not tolerate domestic abuse. We support people as they create pathways to safety. By educating and empowering our communities, we support a more just and effective response to domestic violence and abuse.
